Coronavirus Pandemic: RSF update

According to the Executive Order on ensuring people’s sanitary and epidemiological safety in view of coronavirus infection spread signed by the Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 2, the Russian Science Foundation extends the term for its staff and expert council members to stay in a remote safe mode until April 30. In spite of the pandemic, the RSF’s services for researchers are continuing as usual. RSF successfully adopted a remote mode of work and is attempting to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on the grant holders by offering a range of quick and flexible solutions in the different programs.

In view of the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on research activities, the RSF has introduced some new guidelines on submissions, project durations, interim scientific reports and travel cancellations. Researchers can find the latest information about special measures in response to the Covid-19 crisis and current calls on our website that is continuously updated.

It is expected that signing and submission of new grant agreements to the RSF by project investigators can be completed during 15 working days after 6 May 2020.

Your questions on projects, deadlines and grants are answered in the FAQs as well as through konkurs@rscf.ru (questions related to the current competitions), report@rscf.ru (questions related to the annual scientific and financial reports) and expert@rscf.ru (questions on review services). Requests by email can be made at any time, as usual.

Russian Science Foundation will continue to follow the developments closely and adjust our measures as needed.
