RSF and Helmholtz selected 6 winners of the first joint call for proposals

According to the terms of the call, the research should be targeted on solving specific problems within the priority areas of "Biomedicine" and "Bi Data".
 
The Russian and German parties conducted external review of the proposals submitted independently. The winning projects received a positive evaluation from the peer-reviewers in both countries.
 
The amount of the RSF grant is from 4 to 6 million rubles annually with the funding period in 2018-2020.

The Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres is the largest scientific organisation in Germany. It is a union of autonomous 18 scientific-technical and biological-medical research centers. The official mission of the Association is "solving the grand challenges of science, society and industry" by conducting top-rate research in the fields of Aeronautics, Space and Transport; Earth and Environment; Energy; Health; Matter; and Key Technologies. Scientists at Helmholtz therefore focus research on complex systems which affect human life and the environment. The namesake of the association is the German physiologist and physicist Hermann von Helmholtz (1821 – 1894).
